The City of Melissa, Texas, is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and experienced firms for the relocation of the historic Scott-Barker House, currently located at 1501 Harrison St., to its new site at 3105 Central St., Melissa, Texas. The Scope of Work includes construction of a new pier and beam foundation and the relocation of the two-story wooden structure, in accordance with guidelines from the Texas Historical Commission.
