Sealed bids for Auburn Police Department Cell Block Renovations No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation or information shall be by email and sent to Geno Franczek, Junior Engineer at gfranczek@auburnny.gov. All requests for Information (RFI) must be received by 11:00 am, 6 working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids to be given consideration. PROJECT SCOPE Convert existing second floor cell blocks into two office spaces Select demolition of glazed CMU walls, steel doors and frames (x2), dropped plaster ceiling in existing cell block and steel doors and bars at two (2) existing cell blocks (see demolition drawing and details). Installation of 2 one hour fire rated wooden doors in corridor walls (doors and frames to match existing office doors at second floor) see floor plan. Install 20guage metal furring, insulation and gypsum board per wall types provided (see floor plan and details) Installation of 16 new vinyl replacement windows and trim to match existing (see drawings and details) All electrical and plumbing done by others Contractor to furnish and install labor and materials require for Second Floor Cell Block Renovation and Window Replacement
