Work under this contract consists of replacing existing storm drainpipe(s) provided in Attachment below. The location of this work on SR 19 (Spring Street) in Bibb County between MP 9.2 - 9.4. This project is located at the intersection of SR 19, Hill Park, and Walnut St. Ln. (32 50'28.66" N 83 37'55.66" W). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, means of transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform work. This contract shall be bid per line item. A. The contractor will be responsible for all needed traffic control. A detour may be utilized for this project for commercial traffic, but local traffic shall be allowed access to housing in the area. The contractor may use daily lane closures for the work along with the detour or just utilize daily closures. The detour may only be in place for 4 weeks. Roadway shall remain open for local traffic B. An acceptable detour is attached. C. Work times for this project are daytime hours. The Department reserves the right to adjust these hours. D. Contractor shall open cut the roadway and replace the existing line of 18" pipe with a new line of 18"concrete pipe across the roadway (Pipe A). Contractor shall install new junction box where two (2) lines of pipe tie into the pipe near the Hill Park side of the roadway (red box #3). E. Pipe B shall be installed. The Curb drop inlets on both sides of Hill Park shall be replaced if damaged to include access in the top of each inlet cover at no additional cost to the Department. For pipes A & B. F. Pipe C is a liner into pipe A. Replace liner with 18 inch concrete pipe up to 30 feet long. Install new junction box ( red #3) to tie in pipes A,B, & C. G. Pipe D open cut the road and replace pipe with 18-inch concrete pipe and tie into both junction boxes (1 & 2). Through this ITB/RFQ the Georgia Department of Transportation (hereinafter, "the State Entity, Department, Agency, or GDOT") is seeking bids for Drainage Rehabilitation, Repair, Replacement & Miscellaneous Maintenance Services. The qualified firms who have been awarded a Master Service Agreement (MSA) through the prequalification process #48400-410-000043083. All respondents to this ITB/RFQ are subject to same terms and conditions of the MMSA 48400-410-000034480, subsequent awarded contract, and the ITB/RFQ Form, and are cautioned to completely review the entire ITB/RFQ and follow instructions carefully. The Department reserves the right to modify existing provisions or include additional provisions, which are not currently addressed herein and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive technicalities and informalities at its discretion.
