Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Traverse City, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and educational facility.
The scope of the work includes but is not limited to: The support and stabilization of the existing retaining wall system through the use of helical piers, structural steel and concrete work. The work also includes armorment measures along the existing structure and coordination with EGLE permitting. A bid Security is required to accompany each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of total base bid in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond, made payable to the Owner, and insured by a licensed surety doing business in the State of Michigan. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Amount It is the intent of the Owner to award a contract July 2025. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Start date: JULY 2025. Contractor is to have all materials, equipment, labor, etc ready prior to starting the work, Construction duration is to be kept to a minimum. Substantial Completion Date: August 29, 2025. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, waive irregularities, and to accept the bid that in their opinion is in the best interest of the school district.
