Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Castle Rock, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This Contract provides for the replacement of three (3) noncompliant ADA ramps to current standards, construction of eighteen (18) new ADA ramps where none exist, and construction of new approximately 400 linear feet of sidewalk between gaps in existing sidewalk at multiple locations in downtown Castle Rock. The limits of improvements are along B Street SW from 2nd Avenue SW to 4th Avenue SW, Leaming Avenue NW from Cowlitz Street W approximately 120 feet north, and along C Street SE from Roake Avenue SE to Allen Avenue SE. Improvements include pavement restoration, construction restoration, curb and gutter, concrete driveway approaches, plastic stop bars, and crosswalk lines. Bid date Notes : A contract will be awarded, or all bids rejected within 45 days after the bid opening. Bids received after the fixed time for opening cannot be considered. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Castle Rock.
