The Glynn County School System desires to retain the services of a Georgia Licensed General Contractor, under a Construction Management at Risk contract, in accordance with the procedures of the Georgia Department of Education, for the Glyndale Elementary Replacement (K5). Notification of Award of Construction Manager on August 14, 2025. Remainder of August and September Construction Manager document review, preparation of bid packages, begin advertising and receiving labor and material proposals. o October 2025 - Prepare the GMP. o November 6, 2025 - Present GMP to Board of Education Work Session. o December 2025 - Occupy site. o January 2026 - Begin building construction. o Substantial completion April 30, 2027.
