Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Algoma, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 17,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; 5,800-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site work, paving and new construction of a 17,000-square-foot fire/police statios and a 5,800-square-foot pre-engineered warehouse/distribution facility. As of June 13, 2025, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. This will be bid per catagory by sub-contractor to the Construction Manager (Bayland Buildings) at Risk. This bid package includes 17,000 sq. ft. Fire Station Facility: PreEngineered Metal Building, 5,800 sq. ft., 11'-0 eave height meeting/office/storage area, 11,200 sq. ft., 22'-0 eave height apparatus bay area, 2,000 sq. ft. storage mezzanine open to apparatus bay, (3) single access truck bays, (4) drive-thru truck bays, and (1) wash bay, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression systems. 2.38 acres Site Work: Site utilities, Concrete apron, Asphalt parking lot, Wet detention pond. All Bids must be on a stipulated lump sum basis. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders. An alternate cost for providing a 100% performance bond for labor and materials required. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept any bid, reject any and all bids, and upon acceptance of any bid, to thereafter accept revisions or modifications on such bid.
