**As of July 23, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on August 11th, 2025.** This project consists of construction of new trails at Firemen's Park. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Graham, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Performance-Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Attorneysin-fact who sign Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney. Bonding will not be required if Bid is less than $25,000; however, no payment will be made until all work is completed and accepted by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding of the contract.
