Site work and renovation of a civil project in Mansfield, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Package 2 consists of the Early Procurement for long lead items such as (but not limited to - see Proposal Form) Vertical Turbine Pump, Control Valves, and Electrical Equipment. A general description of the project is as follows: The Owner owns and operates the Bud Ervin WTP located at 707 Pleasant Ridge Ct, Mansfield, TX 76063 in Tarrant County. The purpose of the project is to increase total capacity of the WTP beyond the originally master planned buildout capacity of 60 million gallons per day (MGD) to up to 75 MGD. The current capacity of the WTP is 45 MGD. The current design includes the following components (subject to change during detailed design): o Low pressure micro-filtration membrane system retrofit/expansion using membrane modules by Aria; (PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED) o Ancillary membrane equipment, including backwash pumps and piping, strainers, crossflow piping, air scour blower, CIP piping and equipment, feed piping, filtrate piping, tanks, and electrical, instrumentation, and controls; o Expansion of the 0.8-percent concentration sodium hypochlorite on-site generation system; o Chemical storage, containment, and feed modifications, including improvements for polyaluminum chloride (PACl), liquid ammonium sulfate (LAS), caustic, and 0.8-percent sodium hypochlorite; Replacement of one (1) vertical turbine pump and necessary piping and valves at the Lower Pressure Plane High Service Pump Station; o Addition of one (1) vertical turbine pump and necessary piping and valves at the Upper Pressure Plane High Service Pump Station; o Modifications to the inlet of Clearwell No. 1; o Washwater Recovery Basin 2 modifications, including piping modifications, chemical feed piping, addition of baffles and/or plate settlers, and upsized decant system; o Washwater Recycle Pump Station and Recycle Pipeline upsizing; o Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA improvements; o Installation of one (1) diesel-powered electrical generator; o Addition of automatic transfer switches for three (3) existing diesel powered electrical generators; o Yard and plant piping improvements; o Structural improvements for the above-mentioned items; and o HVAC and architectural modifications (if needed) for the above-mentioned items.
