The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is accepting proposals for the replacement of the existing gravel-surface coal-tar pitch built-up roof system at the TWC Annex Building located at 1411 Brazos St, Austin, Texas 78778. Question Deadline 06/24/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Online Portal. Work will include but not be limited to trades such as removal and replacement of roofing system and modification to accessory components such as flashing, roof drains, and mechanical curbs and systems. As described in the drawings, the roof system will be replaced on the main Annex building, the penthouse, the elevated bridge, and the four stairwells on the parking level. The Contractor shall include in its bid all necessary work in order to perform the work required to make all modifications as detailed on the construction documents. This may include equipment curbs, plumbing lines, roof tie back anchors, and all other items described in the construction documents and specifications. Contractor shall make provisions on its bid to cover all necessary labor & materials to execute the intent of the construction documents. See section 01 11 00 for complete summary of work. Parking and site access is not part of the project scope. Building has not been inspected for Hazardous materials. The owner will test and provide all reports as required. Contractor shall also work with the owner to phase all work per Texas Workforce Commission. Contractor shall at all times use measures for dust control and protection for all individuals on the street level. Contractor shall remove all construction debris daily from work areas. Contractor shall be required to meet all owner background checks. Owner will be responsible to run background checks on all personnel that will access the facility.
