Renovation of an educational facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of work: Coordinate with an already selected boom and surgical light provider/installer, and perform all med-gas and electrical connections as phased work as indicated in the documents. All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by within 170 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations. All questions pertaining to the solicitation during the restricted period shall be made formally to each Designated Staff concurrently: Ivy Lopez Contracts Administrator, Andrew Evans Project Manager, David Schlant M/E Engineering Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 17% MBE and 13% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
