License Requirements Class A Bid Valid 90 Days from Bid Opening Liquidated Damages $10,000 Per Calendar Day Estimated Bid Value $130,674,836.25 Start/Delivery Date Date of Notice to Proceed Project Duration 617 Consecutive calendar days from Notice to Proceed Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Online Q&A No The scope of work includes: The Runway '11L-29R'Reconstruction Project consists of a full depth reconstruction of Runway '11L-29R' with Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement, reconstruction of runway shoulders in asphaltic concrete (AC) pavement, seal coat of Taxiways 'B' and 'C', sealcoat of connector Taxiway 'B6' and connector taxiways B12 and C12 from runway to the hold bars, reconstruction of connector taxiways B10 and C10 (construction alternates), seal coat of the '11L' blast pad/overrun area (construction alternate), mill and overlay of connector Taxiway B2 (construction alternate), reconstruction of the 29R blast pad/overrun area including improvements to the existing approach lighting with sequenced flashing lights (ALSF) (construction alternate), and demolition of Taxiways B3 and B4 (construction alternate). The Engineer's Estimate of Cost for this project is $130,674,836.25. All proposals must be made on the Bid Proposal Form provided by the Purchasing Manager and must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Net Bid Amount (or, in bids with Add Alternates, the highest possible combination of the Base Bid plus Add Alternates) in the form of a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit, or a certificate of deposit or a bidder's bond executed by a corporate surety, admitted by the California Insurance Commissioner to do business in California, payable and acceptable to the City of Fresno; or the Bidder shall have registered with the Purchasing Manager of the City an annual bid bond sufficient to provide coverage in such amount. All Bid Deposits will be held until a Contract has been executed with the successful Bidder or all bids have been rejected. Copies of Bid Deposits may be submitted electronically, with the exception of a certified or cashier's check, which must be brought to the Purchasing Manager's office and labeled accordingly with the bid number prior to the bid opening. The Specifications describing this project have been carefully prepared. Any questions or concerns relating to these Specifications shall be directed in writing to the designated Procurement Specialist of the Purchasing Division (see cover page) and shall be sent via email to Purchasing@fresno.gov. A Bid Question form for this purpose has been included as page xiii. Questions will be accepted only up to 5 working days prior to the bid opening date to allow the City, if necessary, to issue an addendum to all bidders stating revisions, deletions, or additions to be made to the Specifications as a result of any questions.
