The Texas Historical Commission seeks a general contractor firm that has documented experience with projects of the type, scale and scope described in this RFP. Contractor must have a MINIMUM of 8 years' experience in construction similar to the type of work required by these Contract Documents (as judged by THC) to be eligible for contract award. THC requires all work to comply with all applicable Federal and State laws, codes, and standards. The project will generally consist of renovating two existing restrooms and a hallway in a single-story historic masonry building. The drawings describe a bid alternate for a tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and alternate lighting fixtures.
