Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Union County, Ohio for the following: 2025 Union County Hot Mix Resurfacing Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than September 6, 2024. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Union County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The engineer's estimate for this project is $1,634,000.00. Proposals will be accepted only from contractors who are pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. The Board of Commissioners of Union County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items, or to waive any informalities in any bid(s), and to award the contract to the lowest and best bidder in accordance with Section 307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code as determined by the Board of Commissioners of Union County.
