Brickyard MDU Project Location: 12820 Langston Blvd Mont Belvieu Texas The deadline to ask questions is 6/20/2025 10:00 AM CST The project involves the construction of Phase One of Brickyard MDU Project. The project includes the interior placement of micro-duct and fiber from designated D-Marc termination boxes located in each building's meter room to individual On-Q panels located in each unit's master bedroom closet. Total Buildings: 14 residential buildings + 1 leasing office o Total Linear Feet: 43,895 feet of micro-duct and fiber optic cable o Installation Endpoints: o Start Point: D-Marc box (17in x 20in x 12in) in each building's meter room o End Point: On-Q panel in master bedroom closet of each unit o Slack Loop: 5-foot slack loop at each On-Q panel and in each D-Marc location Material Installation o Install 43,895 feet of micro-duct and fiber optic cabling throughout all buildings. o Mount a 17" x 20" x 12" D-Marc box in the meter room of each of the 14 residential buildings and the leasing office (15 total). o Route micro-duct and fiber from each D-Marc location (between floors on levels one and two and attic/crawl space on third levels) to the On-Q panel in every residential unit. Fiber Termination and Splicing o Splice and terminate fiber optic cables at both ends: o Inside the D-Marc box. o Inside the unit's On-Q panel. o Ensure clean, secure, and labeled splice trays or connectors at both ends. o Fiber optic splice loss no greater than 0.3 db. Testing and Labeling o Test all fiber runs end-to-end using industry-standard optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) and power meter/light source methods. o Tag and label each fiber at both termination points (On-Q and D-Marc). o Provide test results for all fiber runs for documentation and acceptance. Fiber Slack Management o Leave a 5-foot slack loop of fiber at each unit's On-Q panel. o Leave a 5-foot slack loop of fiber inside each D-Marc box in the meter rooms.
