Please be advised that questions will be entertained until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 8, 2025. The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) Pre-Stressed Slab Beam, as specified for vehicular traffic on a roadway in Garrett County, Maryland. One Pre-Stressed Slab Beam with Bearing Pads bridge on Buffalo Run Road. The Contract resulting from the bid package shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, Pre-stressed Slab Beam with Bearing Pads, complete to the project site on Buffalo Run Road (Bridge No. G-72) in Garrett County, Maryland. This Contract shall also include supplying any and all special equipment, including a roller and launching tail rental and tools necessary to erect the bridge (excluding crane, standard hand tools, cable, etc.) and providing on-site technical assistance during bridge erection; furnishing a minimum of six (6) sets of shop drawings, assembly manuals, certifications, technical design calculations, bill of materials, etc.; and any and all other miscellaneous items. The bridge will be erected by employees of the Garrett County Public Works Roads Division. The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cancel this invitation to bid and to waive technicalities in any part deemed to be in the best interest of Garrett County. Bid date notes: All bidders are required to submit one (1) copies of their bid documents at the time of submission. All bids submitted should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and should be clearly marked "Pre-Engineered Bridge Superstructure System Bid" on the outside of the envelope. Any bids received after the time due will not be considered for award and shall be retained as documentation for the bid file.
