Site work for a mixed-use development in Sayville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

NYS OPWDD- Long Island DDSO intends to procure the replacement of the septic system and pools (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority. The Long Island DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and is subject to vendor responsibility determination. Long Island DDSOO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov Contract term: 30 Days of Award SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. All work to meet the AHJ Codes and regulations. 2. Vendor is responsible to mark out all utilities prior to work. 3. Contractor is to coordinate all required inspections for installation with designer and DOH. 4. Equivalent substitutions of materials may be allowed with prior approval of OPWDD's architect / engineer. 5. OPWDD is the AHJ for the site. 6. All sketches/plans and or construction documents provide are to be followed. 7. All debris and excess materials are to be disposed off site upon completion. 8. Property affected by work is to be graded, raked and seeded to prevent any tripping hazards. 9. All elements of system are to be tested for proper function. Executive Law Article 15-A, signed into law in 1988, established guidelines for state agencies to establish business and contract utilization goals for certified enterprises owned by minorities and women. Article 15-A defines an MWBE as at least 51 percent owned and controlled by minority or women members.
