This project involves a street renovation. Proposals will be received by mail or may be hand delivered on the date of the bid opening. Please reach out to the Mayor or Clerk of the Town of Holly Pond for specifications, requirements, and more information. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Town of Holly Pond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the contract. The Contractor whose Bid is selected must furnish a Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the Bid amount and a payment bond for five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bonds must be secured from a bonding company's representative agent authorized and li-censed to do business in the state of Alabama. Each bond shall be countersigned by an agent of the Surety having residence in the state of Alabama, and is authorized and licensed to do business in the state of Alabama and each bond shall depict the complete address of said agent. All Bids shall be held after the time for opening of Bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the Bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of receipt of Bids.
