Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Macon, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials required for "Project Talon" Phase 1A New Parking Area at 113 Preston Court, in Macon, GA, including but not limited to grading, drainage, erosion control, concrete and hot mix asphalt paving, and stabilization of disturbed areas. The Project will be awarded in one contract. The Contract Time is 60 calendar days. Liquidated damages in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) shall be assessed for each day the work extends beyond each milestone completion date. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Contract Amount indicated in the Proposal, prepared on the form of Bid Bond that is part of the Proposal Documents, duly executed by the Proposer as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570. The successful Proposer for this Contract shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, satisfactory to the Owner, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. All necessary permits for this project are expected to be acquired prior to the receipt of Proposals. No land acquisition is required for the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities
