Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 580,000-square-foot, 16-story above grade multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
General Contractors, mechanical subcontractors and electrical subcontractors are invited to submit PRE-QUALIFICATION information for the construction of a LEED certified, 9 and 16 storey residential development at 15 - 105 Mooregate Cres. It is anticipated that construction will start in spring 2026, with substantial completion by winter 2029. These dates may be subject to change. This pre-qualification serves for the role of General Contractors, Mechanical-Subcontractor and Electrical Sub-Contractor. Tenders will only be accepted by pre-qualified General Contractors, Mechanical Sub-Contractors and Electrical Sub-Contractors. The project will include construction of two new residential buildings, with 3 levels of connected underground parking garage, requiring tie-back shoring of the site. Building A will be 9 storeys, 24,679 m2, 215 units, with a mix of 1 bed up to 5 bed units with amenity spaces located on the main floor. Building B will be a 16 storey building, 29,018 m2, including retail, childcare, resident amenity and government agency spaces on the first 3 floors, as well as 163 residential units, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms.
