The Town of Mint Hill is seeking informal bids (pursuant to NCGS 143-131) for the proposed NC51 & Idlewild Road Roundabout Welcome Sign Project. The project is located in the center of the existing roundabout at NC51 and Idlewild Road (nearest address: 3424 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Matthews, NC 28105). The overall scope of the project is to construct a masonry "welcome" sign in the center of the existing roundabout at the intersection of NC51 (Matthews-Mint Hill Road) and Idlewild Road. The Liquidated Damages rate is set at $500 per day, beginning on the first day after the contract period end date and accumulating thereafter.
