Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
** As of August 12, 2025 project has been awarded to Brazos Paving, Inc. for an amount of $ 297,389.75.** LaBrisa Culvert Replacement Project , Question Cuttoff Date & Time 6/24/2025 11:00:00 AM (ET). The City believes that the data contained in these specifications is sufficient for the preparation of Competitive Sealed Proposals. Requests for additional information will be considered depending on the proposal time frame and the availability of the requested information. Such information will be submitted to all known Proposers simultaneously on the website mentioned above. Pursuant to Government Code Chapter 2269, subchapter D, the City of Bryan may enter into a contract with the Offeror meeting all the qualifications and specifications that submits the Competitive Sealed Proposal that offers the best value to the City. The City will evaluate and rank Proposals considering the selection criteria and weighted value set forth in the request for proposals. Proposal to the vendor offering the best value to the City of Bryan. Additionally, all Proposers are hereby notified that the City of Bryan shall consider all factors it believes to be relevant in the determination of the best value including, but not limited to, the proximity of the Proposer as it relates to their ability to perform the contract for the City of Bryan. The City anticipates the scope of work for the Project to consist of the following responsibilities and the following items: Demolition, erosion control, and storm water pollution prevention. Removal and disposal of ~171 SY asphalt pavement. Removal and disposal of ~126 SY concrete driveway and sidewalk pavement. Removal and disposal of ~526 LF of RCP and CMP culverts including structures. Removal and disposal of 1 curb inlet. Removal and disposal of ~40 SY concrete slope pavement. Construction of ~7,500 SY of 8 concrete pavement, including reinforcement & treated subgrade. Construction of ~171 SY of 6 concrete pavement, including reinforcement. Construction of ~86 CY of cement sand stabilization Construction of ~65 LF of 6 monolithic curb. Construction of ~118 SY pf 6 concrete driveway pavement, including reinforcement & treated subgrade. Construction of 1 curb inlet. Construction of ~526 LF of HDPE storm sewer pipe, including structural backfill. Construction of concrete parallel headwall. Construction of ~40 SY concrete slope pavement. Construction of ~40 LF City of Bryan Pedestrian Guardrail. Installation of road striping and road signs The Project will be designed and constructed so as to meet all applicable federal, state, and local accessibility standards. The selected Offeror will be also responsible for: obtaining all applicable permits and inspections; providing all necessary performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates; and providing the Owner with all manufacturers warranties. Project Estimated Budget: The allocated budget for both design and construction costs for this Project is $309,870.55, inclusive of all incidental and contingent expenses associated with the construction of the entire scope of the Project. Project Estimated Completion Date: The City has established a target completion date to be 75 working days from the start of construction. The City reserves the right to modify the commencement date, subject to Owner and Contractor availability, phase the construction of the Project, or modify the schedule as needed and determined by the City due to modifications in scope. Wednesday, July 16, 2025 - Anticipated date of Notice of Intent to Award Friday, July 28, 2025 - All Submittals for project due 10 business days from Notice of Intent to Award Tuesday, August 12, 2025 - Anticipated date of Contract Award by City Council Tuesday, August 19, 2025 - Anticipated date of Signed Contract Tuesday, August 19, 2025 - Anticipated Pre-Construction Meeting (Date Subject to Change) Thursday, August 28, 2025 - Performance and Payment Bonds due within 7 business days of Signed Contract Friday, August 29, 2025 - Anticipated date of Notice to Proceed January 2026 - Targeted Completion Date The City of Bryan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, to waive any informalities and technicalities, to accept the offer considered most advantageous and to award the QA - 6/27/25
