The request for Bids consists of but is not limited to the demolition and disposal of approximately 1,250 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer main on Pioneer Street in the Village of Cooperstown. New sanitary manholes will be installed and new PVC sanitary sewer main will be installed. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. The bidder shall be aware the construction for this project must begin after September 1, 2025 and shall be completed before the end of the 2025 calendar year. No Prebid meeting is scheduled. Doc Note : Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. REVplans is the designated location and means for distributing and obtaining all bid package information. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official of record. The Provider takes no responsibility for the completeness of Contract Documents obtained from other sources. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered via email and will be available at Website. Plan who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with the printer for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. Bidders are responsible for the timely delivery of their Bid proposal to the proper department as indicated in this "Invitation For Bids". Bid proposals received after the date and time specified in the Invitation shall be considered unresponsive and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. The Village of Cooperstown does not accept bids by Fax or Email. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
