Remodeling of a library in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 14,751-square-foot, one-story above grade library.

The Work involved in this specification and the accompanying Drawings consists of performing all labor and furnishing of all materials, fixtures and equipment necessary to install a complete fire protection system as described herein and/or shown on the Drawings. This includes all piping, wiring and materials obviously necessary for complete systems though not specifically mentioned or shown. The fire protection system shall be the remodel on an existing wet-pipe system in the scope of work areas as defined by the plans. The system in renovated spaces shall be designed for light hazardous classification. Any storage areas shall be designed for ordinary hazard, group 1 classification. Provide coverage for all concealed combustible spaces including, but not limited to floor truss or ceiling cavities. System(s) will be supplied by an existing underground fire sprinkler service that is to remain. The system(s) shall be complete with, but not limited to, sprinklers, piping, valves, alarm bell/horn, fire department connection, backflow preventer test connection, and controls necessary for a complete system. The purpose of this request is to provide the City of Sioux Falls with formal bids for Siouxland Libraries Oak View Branch Remodel. This project is estimate at $971,721.00 and will be funded with CIP No. 06012.
