The Work will be completed by August 15, 2025. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per day. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Harrison County Board of Education in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21-1D-5. The Project includes the following Work: The project will consist of a paving and/or asphalt sealing at various schools throughout the Harrison County (West Milford Elmentary, Nutterfort Elmentary, South Harrison High School, Maintenance Department, Lincoln High School, Bridgeport High School, Mountaineer Middle/Elementary, Board Office, and RCB High School). Approximately 159,000 SF asphalt milling, 1550 TN of asphalt, 56,800 SY of asphalt sealing, pavement striping. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2025 Paving All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 30-42-12 of the West Virginia Code. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. The Harrison County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
