Volume 1, Volume 2, and Addenda/Amendments are incorporated as part of the full bid submittal. In addition to filling out information in this solicitation, supplier must complete and attach the required bid bond or acceptable substitute as referenced in Article 8 - Bid Security in the Instructions to Bidders. The Project or Work consists of improvements to the existing gravity sewer system to include: replacement of 1,725 linear feet of 18-inch VCP with 24-inch PVC pipe; rehabilitation, by means of CIPP liner, of 1,800 linear feet of 18-inch, 1,733 linear feet of 27-inch, and 273 linear feet of 30-inch pipe; replacement of seven manholes with polymer structures; and rehabilitation of 12 manholes. This project also includes pavement mill and overlay, maintenance of traffic and maintenance of service. Bidder must be aware of the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF) Contract inserts and the requirements that have been added to the standard front ends including the Advertisements for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Questionnaire, and Bidder Compliance Statement. Bidder must comply with the MBE/WBE requirements as stated in Article 25 of the Instructions to Bidders, other documents in Volume 1 and show proof of advertisement or contacts.
