Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Georgetown, Colorado. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

No definite date for the rebid.** Reference Number 0000390352 Job Location: Georgetown, CO The Town of Georgetown decided to renovate Strousse Park located at the intersection of Rose and 6th Streets in the historic downtown business district in 2021. A master plan for revitalization of the park was developed by DHM Design out of Denver. The Town decided to implement the renovation project in 5 phases over several years. Phase 1 (2021) - New Restroom; Phase 2 (2022) - New Shelter; Phase 3 (2023) - Sub-surface Infrastructure and Fire-pit; Phase 4 (2024) - Flagstone, Hardscape and Plantings; Phase 5 (2025) - Renovation and Paving of Strousse Park Parking Lot. Phase 5 involves improving the Strousse Park Parking Lot located at the corner of Rose Street and 5 th Street. Concrete work (curbs, gutters, drainage pan) in preparation for final surface renovation and paving was completed in 2024 as part of the Phase 4 work. The concrete curb, gutter, and drain pan system establish the primary drainage path for the parking lot. The scope of this RFP is intended to finalize the parking lot so that it minimizes potential for pot-holes, drains properly, and has a maintainable surface that is keeping with Georgetown's historic downtown district. The scope of work includes: o Excavation and "haul-away" of parking lot sub-surface material, o Supply and installation of sub-base material to create a suitable base for drainage and paving, o Final grading and compaction of sub-base, o Supply, installation of 3/4 " crushed stone "paving", with "Option for Chip-seal" o Supply and installation of concrete parking wheel-stops Detailed Scope of Work: The scope of work for Phase 5 of the Strousse Park Refresh Project is marked and delineated on the marked up DHM drawings included with this Request for Proposal and as described below: Contractor Responsibilities The main parking lot area is approximately 63' wide x 75' deep (4725 sq-ft) with a 35' wide x 30' deep (1050 sq-ft) access corridor to the rear of adjacent buildings. These areas are shown in detail on Diagram A in the attachments. This diagram also shows grade elevations and approximate locations of underground utilities. The existing parking lot currently has a gravel surface that was rough graded when the concrete work was installed in the fall of 2024.
