As of September 5, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Wynne Water Utilities intends to make improvements and modifications to the Wynne Wastewater Treatment Plant to repair and improve the plant from tornado damage. These improvements include but are not limited to; installation of the following owner procured equipment, Mechanical Bar Screens (2), Grit Removal Equipment (2), Oxidation Aerators (2), UV Disinfection (1), and Generator and ATS. In addition to, the installation of a new Bar Screen Channels, Grit Removal Channels, Junction Box, Clarifier Equipment installation, new Blowers and Course bubble diffusers, new RAS/WAS/TWAS pumps, a new pump building, anew UV Disinfection channel, land application system. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable State of Arkansas approved surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to Wynne Water Utilities. Question Deadline 07/22/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing The successful Bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date. Within 60 days from the bid date, the Owner may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder or reject any or all bids for the project. WYNNE WATER UTILITIES reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, informalities, or irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the WYNNE WATERUTILTIES, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
