Site work for a water / sewer project in Germantown, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Rehabilitation of the 1-million-gallon elevated water storage tank including structural repairs (ladders, platforms, hatches, antenna mounts, interior roof members etc.), with replacement of associated service and overflow piping, valves, vaults, and other appurtenances. Elevated tank will be abrasive blasted and repainted. Also included is site work, grading, access road upgrade, electrical, instrumentation, and maintaining access for communication service providers. Demolition of the existing: 24-inch water service piping from the tank base to the connection at the tee to the pumping station, 8-inch overflow piping as shown on Contract Drawings, the altitude control valve vault and associated piping, valves, and structure. The work also includes the demolition of the existing telecommunication tower, existing guy wires, foundation and constructing a new prefabricated telecommunication tower.
