Renovation of a water / sewer project in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of North Vancouver (CNV) invites submissions for the prequalification of General Contractors (GCs) who have experience in providing small-scale civil infrastructure upgrades and maintenance services relating to Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV), Pressure Relief Valves and water system balancing. Services may include: Assist CNV employees with installation of upgrade and replacement parts. Assist CNV employees with maintenance and service of current PRV setups. Provide recommendations for future upgrades based on information provided by CNV employees and external stakeholders, such as Metro Vancouver, when applicable. Provide training to CNV employees for PRV chamber works when necessary Procurement of replacement and upgrade parts for Pressure Reducing and Pressure Relief Valve systems. Strong knowledge of municipal waterworks systems and how best to balance them, with the outcome of creating a more resilient and reliable system.
