Remodeling of a parking garage in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 16,928-square-foot, two-story above grade parking garage.

Pre-qualification Forms Are Included With the Bid Documents and Can Be Found on the Childers Construction Website at Www.childers-construction.com. Every Subcontractor Must Be Pre-qualified for 2025 to Bid This Project. Contact Tawni Glover to Verify Your Status at 850-222-2281. Bids Should Be Submitted Electronically to Bids@childers-construction.com or Hand Delivered. Question Deadline 07/10/2025 All questions need to be emailed to Van Champion, Jr., van@childers-construction.com, no less than (5) business days prior to the Bid Day. CGC License # CGC45514 Any damage to the building, either interior or exterior, shall be the responsibility of the subcontractor to repair or replace. It is the responsibility of this subcontractor to coordinate any conflicts, unknowns or, assumptions regarding their area of work with the CM prior to the Bid Opening. A. MEP safe offs are done by others prior to demolition. B. It is the responsibility of this contractor to coordinate with other trade contractors as required. C. Includes all Demo sheets as a part of this bid package. D. Includes all General and Demolition notes as shown on sheet D1.1 1. Wall repairs and patching to be done by others. 2. Contractor shall salvage existing materials for reuse as noted in notes: i. A, F, and P. ii. Contractor shall be responsible for replacing any and all existing materials noted to be salvaged, in the event damages occur while under demolition. E. Includes all notes as shown on the D1.2 1. Contractor shall strictly follow the line of demolition. 2. Existing hard ceilings are to remain. 3. Contractor shall salvage existing materials for reuse as noted in notes: i. C and E. ii. Contractor shall be responsible for replacing any and all existing materials noted to be salvaged, in the event damages occur while under demolition. 4. Includes note D on this sheet. 5. Note F is to be performed by Owner and is not a part of this bid package. F. Includes all notes as shown on sheet D1.3. 1. Existing chilled and hot water lines to remain. 2. Contractor shall salvage existing materials for reuse as noted in notes: i. A, F, and P. ii. Contractor shall be responsible for replacing any and all existing materials noted to be salvaged, in the event damages occur while under demolition. G. Includes removal of existing soffit, suspended ceilings and floor ramp as shown on sheet D1.4. 1. Contractor shall salvage existing materials for reuse as noted in notes: i. A, F, and P. ii. Contractor shall be responsible for replacing any and all existing materials noted to be salvaged, in the event damages occur while under demolition. H. Includes detail #3 as shown on sheet A1.2. 1. Grinding the existing concrete as shown on Detail #3 is a part of this bid package. i. Installation of framing done by other. I. Job Specifications for Division 1 are a part of this bid package, the entire division. J. Job Specifications for Division 2 are a part of this bid package, the entire division.
