Scope of Work of the Contract Documentsincludes the following: Paving, Drainage, Water, Wastewater Improvements, andErosion Controls associated with Hudson Park Bonsmara Boulevard and Phase 1.Bidsreceived after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must beaccompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to theOwner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as aguarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents andexecute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurancecertificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents arereceived by the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive alldefects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time forsubmitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder,which will be most advantageous and result in the best and most economicalcompletion of the Project Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request for such information to Engineer not less than seven (7) calendar days before the Bid opening.
