Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Nevada City, California. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project replaces the existing Nevada Street Bridge over Deer Creek with a new bridge. The new bridge will be 68 ft. long by 44 ft. wide. Bridge approach reconstruction will include approximately 160 ft. of Nevada Street north of the bridge and 200 ft. south of the bridge into the Broad, Boulder, and Sacramento Streets intersection. Additional work will include utilities, drainage, grading, paving and sidewalk improvements. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 09, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
