CR Number: 2123569 Yates County will accept sealed bids for the County Route 15 Pre-Emption Road over Kashong Creek Bridge Rehabilitation The project is located approximately 275 feet south of the intersection of PreEmption Road and Toomey Road. The projects limits extend from approximately 50 feet north and 50 south of the existing bridge. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Removing and replacing the existing concrete bridge deck. The single 58'-6" span composite concrete deck with cantilevered sidewalks will be reconstructed. The multiple steel girders will remain and receive paint over coating. Concrete repairs will be made to the existing substructures. There is approximately 60 feet of full depth roadway reconstruction including sidewalk improvements and railing upgrades. Traffic will be maintained using an off-site detour during construction. The DBE goal for this project is 5%. There are no M/WBE or SDVOB goals for this project. All bids are subject to final review and approval by the Yates County Board of Legislatures before any award of contract may be made. Receipt of bids by the County shall not be construed as authority to bind the Municipality The work shall be substantially completed within 90 calendar days following mobilization of the site, and shall be completed and ready for final payment by July 30, 2026.
