**As of August 29th, 2025, the project was awarded to Pennsy Supply, with an awarded amount of $553,728.81.** The project generally consists of pavement improvements including base repair, leveling course, double seal coat, binder, and a wearing course overlay. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, Marion Township, Berks County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The successful BIDDER will be required to execute the Agreement, furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond on the respective forms provided in the Contract Documents, and provide evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Contract Documents. Bids will be reviewed and recommended for award to the lowest qualified Bidder at the Public Meeting to be held at 7:00 P.M. prevailing time on June 26, 2025. Marion Township, Berks County, reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items.
