Subcontractor / Trade Descriptions: Bids are being requested for the following trades: Pacific High School SDC Building Culinary Classroom Modernization (Rebid) Surveying Demolition Concrete: Structural & Site and Reinforcement Painting & Wallcovering Rough Carpentry Marker Boards Finish Carpentry Signage Insulation and Drywall Toilet Accessories Doors, Frames & Hardware Fire Protection Specialties Tiling Plumbing: Building & Site Acoustical Ceiling & Treatments Electrical & Low Voltage Food Service Equipment Earthwork and Asphaltic Paving Window Shades Chain-link Fencing Requests for Information (RFI s): Requests for information for this project is due by 5:00 pm November 21, 2025. Bidders are required to indicate the project name in the title of your request submission. Submit all requests for information to Marty Greenwood at mgreenwood@tilden-coil.com Pre-Qualification: The San Bernardino City Unified School District ( District ) has determined that contractors on future projects ( Contractor(s) or Firm(s) ) must be prequalified prior to submitting a bid or proposal on a project. This form must be completed by: Contractors that intend to bid or propose to perform work under a C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 license (s) and that intend to bid or submit a proposal Pre-qualification application packages are available on the District s website - https://sbcusdfacilities.com/transforming-schools/bid-opportunities/ and must be submitted (10) calendar days prior to the Bid Due date. Notices to pre-prequalification applicants will be provided no later than (5) calendar days prior to the Bid Due date with a complete list of prequalified contractors to be published on the District s website by the following day. Skilled and Trained Workforce: Respondents are advised that this project must conform to the revisions of the California Education Code Section 17407.5, mandated by AB 418. As such, all subcontractors, are required to provide a "Skilled and Trained Workforce". DIR Registration: This Project is a public works project as defined in Labor Code section 1720. All subcontractors (of any tier) bidding on this Project or performing any portion of the Work must comply with the Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 and must be properly and currently registered with DIR and qualified to perform public works pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 throughout the duration of the Project.
