Subcontractors engaged by the Contractor must have relevant experience on FDOT projects and, where applicable, hold appropriate licenses corresponding to the nature of work performed. The Contractor shall bear full responsibility for the actions and omissions of its subcontractors. Furthermore, all terms and conditions of any agreement resulting from this solicitation shall be binding upon all subcontractors engaged by the Contractor. Submittals will be available for inspection during normal business hours from the Office of Procurement Services thirty (30) calendar days after the Solicitation due date or after recommendation of award, whichever occurs first. ) SCOPE OF WORK Provide asphalt resurfacing services for CDBG funded project based on a total sum bid. The project limits are approximately three quarters (3/4) of a mile. All roads shall be resurfaced utilizing a one-inch (1") overlay with SP 9.5 asphaltic concrete. Asphalt shall have a maximum RAP content of not more than thirty percent (30%). Quantities listed are estimates only. Contractor shall field verify all quantities. Bids shall be inclusive of all costs to include temporary striping, leveling quantities, and any incidental costs for the resurfacing and replacement of the existing pavement markings and RPMs with paint and thermoplastic. Leveling courses will not be added without modification of resurfacing limits by the County. A mandatory pre-construction meeting will be held prior to the commencement of any work. All standard equipment, work operations, safety equipment, personal protective equipment, and lighting required or mandated by State, Federal, OSHA, or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations must be provided and used by the vendor and its employees. All work and materials shall conform to Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction, 2025 Edition (or latest edition), Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), 2025 Edition (or latest edition), and the Florida Method of Test for Traffic Striping Retroreflectivity Designation: FM 5-541 (or latest edition) The County does not guarantee a minimum or maximum dollar amount to be expended on any contract(s) resulting from this solicitation.
