Renovation of an educational facility in Victoria, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,284-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to accept any proposal deemed by the County as providing the best value for and being most beneficial to the County, and to waive all formalities in the proposal process. The projected budget (Architect's Estimate) for this project is $3,750,000.00. Proposals shall be based on lump sum fixed pricing and must include all materials, labor, permits, fees, bonds and insurance. All proposals equal to or greater than $100,000.00 including any additive alternates, must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or proposal bond made payable without recourse to Victoria County in an amount equal to or not less than 5% of the proposal amount including any additive alternates. Performance and labor and material payment bonds will be required equal to 100% of the contract amount, if more than $100,000.00. Payment Bonds only are required if proposal is greater than $25,000.00, but less than $100,000.00. Prevailing wages adopted by the Victoria County and published in the proposal documents must be paid on this project. No proposals may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of the proposals without consent of the County. All proposal securities will be retained until contracts have been awarded and executed, but no longer than 60 days. The Victoria County Regional Public Safety Training Center project is a renovation of an existing building located at 1952 Guadalupe Rd, Victoria, Texas 77905, for the use as the new location for Victoria County for training purposes. Project scope for the following: Base Bid is to selectively demolish areas indicated on the plans, including but not limited to demolishing of walls, ceilings, flooring, and windows, etc. Renovations of these spaces as shown on the plans and elevations. New flooring, walls, ceilings, and lighting will be installed. And electrical panels, switch gear, and transfer switches in relation to a future emergency generator. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work as shown. Four alternates, 1-4: a. Alternate 1: Add window infill to the rear of the builidng. b. Alternate 2: Rrenovate secondary portions of the building as inidicated. Renovations include but not limitied to demolishing of walls, ceilings, flooring, and windows, etc. Renovations of these spaces as shown on the plans and elevations. New flooring, walls, ceilings, and lighting will be installed. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work as shown. c. Alternate 3: Addition of emergency generator and concrete maintance pad. d. Alternate 4: Renovate and combine two adjacent classrooms into office sweets for the Victoria County Fire Marshall. , including but not limitied to demolishing of walls, ceilings, flooring, and windows, etc. Renovations of these spaces as shown on the plans and elevations. New flooring, walls, ceilings, and lighting will be installed. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work as shown.
