To provide trash and recycling collection and disposal services at VDOT locations in Chesapeake, VA. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide trash and recycling collection and disposal services at the Hampton Roads Interstate Maintenance Office, Bowers Hill Area Headquarters, and Expressway Area Headquarters. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to collect and dispose of trash generated by the following locations: 1. Interstate Maintenance Office and Equipment Shop 1992 South Military Highway Chesapeake, VA 23320 (Disposal once per week) 2. Bowers Hill Area Headquarters 3904 South Military Highway Chesapeake, VA 23321 (Disposal once per week) The Contractor shall provide two (2) trash containers and one (1) recycling container. All separation of the recyclables shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. These containers shall be designed to be animal/rodent and wind proof. The purchasing agency reserves the right to add or delete containers, as needed at the firm unit prices indicated in the Pricing Schedule. Period of contract: From August 1, 2025, through July 30, 2026 (renewable).
