References and past performance WoodGreen Community Services is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the replacement of all roofing systems at the property located at 1491 Danforth Avenue, including frontages extending from 1491 Danforth Avenue to Craven Road and all roof areas south to Lane South Danforth West Craven. The approximate total roof area is 5,590 square feet. Perform all work in compliance with OHSA and O. Reg. 213/91 for Construction Projects (April 2024 update). Erect all required roof perimeter safety measures. Coordinate with WoodGreen for shut-down of rooftop HVAC units during work. Remove and dispose of existing clay bell tile copings at firewalls. Remove and dispose of all existing roofing down to the structural roof deck. Replace damaged wood decking (up to 150 sq. ft.) using 3/4” plywood Install 5/8” plywood sheathing at exposed brick surfaces used as upturns. Install modified bitumen vapour barrier membrane, ensuring full encapsulation of insulation. Install 2.5” polyisocyanurate insulation, mechanically fastened. Install roof cover board adhered to insulation. Install all required metal penetration flashings for stacks and penetrations. Install a 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane over all low-slope areas and flashings. Install new eavestroughs at lower roof terminations. Install prefinished sheet metal flashings on all parapets and vertical terminations. Perform complete site cleanup and demobilization upon project completion.
