HAK MPU S Pad Expansion and New WellsThe Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division)received a Unit Plan of Operations Amendment application on June 5, 2025, fromHilcorp Alaska, LLC (HAK) requesting to expand the S Pad gravel pad by 3.62 acresto allow for drilling of up to 22 new wells. The proposed project will beadjudicated under AS 38.05 and 11 AAC 83.346. The Division is providing publicnotice and an opportunity to comment.Applicant: HAK (see application for contact information)Project ID: LONS-01-001Location:27 miles northwest of Deadhorse Airport (see application for MTRS)Project Description:The Division of Oil and Gas has received the attached Plan of Operations Amendmentfrom Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (HAK) requesting authorization to expand the existing SPad within the Milne Point Unit (MPU) to upgrade the facility in anticipation offuture additional wells and well work activities in MPU. HAK requests to placeapproximately 23,800 cubic yards of gravel sourced from Milne Minesite to fillapproximately 3.62 acres of wetlands adjacent to the S Pad footprint. The expansionareawill provide space for a header expansion, remote shelter, upgrades to thepolymer skid, a booster pump module, and drilling of up to 22 additional wellsutilizing the Doyon 19 Rig.
