Without being restrictive, the work can be summarized as follows: 1- Excavation and backfilling ; 2- Storm sewer, culvert and ditch; 3- Street foundation; 4- Two layers of bituminous asphalt and pavement markings; 5- Sidewalk and cement concrete curb; 6- Surface repairs. As well as all related work required to complete this contract. The contractor must proceed diligently and draw up its work schedule taking into account that : a) The contractor has a period of thirty (30) consecutive working days between August 11, 2025 and October 31, 2025 to complete all of the work, with the exception of the work related to paving 2026. b) The contractor has a period of five (5) consecutive working days within the period between the end of the 2026 thaw and June 21, 2026 to complete the work related to 2026 paving. c) The working hours available to the contractor are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. d) The contractor is required to take into account any unforeseen circumstances, such as rainy days, waiting times, etc., in his work schedule. In the event of delays, the client reserves the right to take all necessary measures, in accordance with the contract, to protect its interests. The contractor will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred as a result of the delay.
