Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Strongsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 391-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.

This Project consists of the renovation of three restrooms in the Ehrnfelt Senior Center. Each BID must contain the full name or names of the interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check on a solvent bank or bid bond made payable to the order of the City of Strongsville, Ohio, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The BID check or BID bond, as the case may be, will be held as a guarantee that, if the BID proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into between the bidder and the City of Strongsville, Ohio. The price of material and labor bid shall be separately stated. A Bidder/Contractor will be deemed committed to the Department of Labor's goals and timetables for the Cleveland, Ohio area as specified in the Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246 by submitting a properly signed bid). Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, age, gender, physical disability or national origin. The Council of the City of Strongsville, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and minor defects in the bids received, and to accept any bid which deems most favorable to the City. The City of Strongsville is an Equal Opportunity Employer. If any person contemplating submitting a BID for the proposed PROJECT is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, they may submit to the DIRECTOR OF RECREATION a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be made only by ADDENDUM duly issued and a copy of such ADDENDUM will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of such CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. The awarding authority will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
