This property has been identified as requiring a detailed structural investigation of the building envelope, specifically the precast concrete panels, their connections, and the concrete balconies, due to water infiltration that has resulted in interior damage. TIMELINE: The owner is seeking proposals from structural engineering consultant services. The purpose of this project is to engage a qualified structural engineer who specializes in Building Envelope and Precast Concrete Systems to perform a thorough assessment of the precast concrete panel façade and balconies of Baker House. The consultant will investigate existing structural issues, provide recommendations for remediation, and develop a repair budget.
