A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Demolition/removal of existing roofing, coping caps, HVAC systems & ducting on the roof and throughout the building, interior lights & lighting controls, and all associated equipment and accessories; removal and disposal of solar mounting system; replacing designated roofing with new built-up roofing and insulation; providing new roof drains and coping caps at designated locations; providing new seismic expansion joints at designated areas of work; providing and installing new HVAC equipment and associated electrical equipment as designated on mechanical and electrical plans. To ensure receipt of addendums, any party interested in the Project shall place their information with the Department of Public Works at 707-588-3300 or PWProjects@rpcity.org The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the City Engineer to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 300 calendar days of that Notice. Per California Civil Code Section 9550, a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). A performance bond will also be required for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The bond(s) must be provided within fifteen (15) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. For any moneys earned by the Contractor and withheld by the City of Rohnert Park to ensure the performance of the contract, the Contractor may, at its request and sole expense, substitute certain securities equivalent to the amount withheld in the form and manner and subject to the terms and conditions provided in the California Public Contracts Code Section 22300.
