PREQUALIFICATION ADVERTISEMENT Blum Construction and WC Construction has been selected, in a Joint Venture, as the Construction Manager @ Risk by Guilford County Schools and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Early Abatement & Demolition Package of the overall Swann Center 6-12 project, a 2022 bond project, in Greensboro, NC. This early phase of work of the overall Swann Center 6-12 project consists of asbestos abatement and lead removal for all six buildings based on findings from recent testing. Selective demolition in the main building consists of any demolition required to access hazardous materials. Complete demolition of the (5) five annex buildings will include building structure down to the slab which is to remain.
