The work generally consist of construction of a breakroom, office and storage area and renovation of an existing bathroom in the garage area of an existing building. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and associated items for the addition and existing building modifications, as noted in the Contract Documents and Construction Drawings. This work does include minor plumbing work in addition to the general construction work. There is electrical construction work which will be contracted independent of this Contract. Drawings for the electrical work are included in the documents for coordination purposes. Please email document requests to mail@niraengineers.com along with a copy of the signed check. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, and completed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the form of a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal made in the favor of the Harrison Township Water Authority. Only documents obtained directly from the Engineer will be valid at bid opening. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond in the amounts specified within the Contract Documents will be required of the successful Bidder. No Bid or any part thereof shall be withdrawn by Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the Bid Opening. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all Bids or parts of bids and to waive technical defects in any Bid.
