The City of Pharr periodically has a need for professional project and/or construction management services for a variety of public infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and buildings. SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Pharr periodically has a need for general types of projects that require Professional Project and/or Construction Management Services including but not limited to the following: The City is looking for a consultant to work as an extension of Engineering staff on the development of public infrastructure projects. Tasks may include a variety of planning, design management, and oversight of construction and renovation work at facilities within the Citys boundaries to ensure the continued progress of activities in any of the phases of design, construction, and close-out. Such services shall be performed consistent with the standard of care for professionals performing similar scopes of services. The Consultant shall, at a minimum, undertake the scope of services reasonably necessary and customarily provided by Project and/or Construction Management Consultant Firms conducting business in the United States to ensure that all of the Citys goals, standards, policies and procedures are adhered to over the course of the assignment. They will be required to operate and comply within established protocols, policies and procedures including budget, accounting, contracting, and project management.
