The City of McHenry is soliciting bids for the STORM SEWER LINING. The proposed improvements include: requirements for the designing, supplying, and installing a geopolymer to structurally rehabilitate existing storm sewer/culvert channel. The geopolymer liner shall be spin casted to various pipe surfaces including concrete, corrugated metal, and various other compatible materials and other necessary and incidental work. The location of the work shall be at Kensington Drive, McHenry, Illinois. The storm sewer pipe runs underneath the road. Prior to submitting a bid, a firm interested in submitting a bid as a Prime Contractor must complete and return a Notification of Intent to Bid form no less than three calendar days prior to the bid opening. Notification of Intent to Bid submittals will not be processed by the City after 3:30 PM three (3) calendar days preceding the published letting date. Submittal of the Notification of Intent to Bid shall confirm the bidder'sintention to submit a bid and shall serve as the bidder's request for the City's Authorization to Bid. NO BIDS SHALL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THE CONTRACTOR HAS SUBMITTED THE NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO BID FORM. Question Deadline 07/01/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Questions are due to ggruen@cityofmchenry.org.
