Webb County is seeking competitive bids to design, permit, drill, construct, equip, and commission a non-potable water supply well at the Webb County Road & Bridge Los Botines Lot. This system will provide a reliable water source for operational needs, including supplying water to a mobile home office and facilitating the filling of holding tanks for water trucks used by the Webb Count Road & Bridge Department. The project also includes the installation and connection of a 10,000-gallon water storage tank to the well system, and a dedicated pumping system for efficient water truck filling from this tank. Bid security is required in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.032 (Bid or Performance Bond; Payment under Contract). All Bids formally received by the Purchasing Agent in accordance with the schedule attached herein are irrevocable and cannot be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days following the date scheduled for the opening of the Bid(s). A Performance Bond is required for construction contracts exceeding $100,000.00 and a Payment Bond is required if a construction contract is in excess of $25,000 in statutory compliance with applicable provisions of the Texas Government Code; Chapter 2253, SubChapter B General Requirements) and/or in compliance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.032 (Bid or Performance Bond; Payment under Contract). WEBB COUNTY reserves the right to reject any and all ITB, to waive informalities in the ITB process, or to terminate the ITB process at any time, if deemed in the best interest for WEBB COUNTY. In addition, WEBB COUNTY shall not, under any circumstances, be bound by or be liable for any obligations with respect to this public solicitation until such time (if at all) a construction contract been awarded and all approvals obtained in form and substance satisfactory to the WEBB COUNTY have been executed and authorized by the WEBB COUNTY Commissioners Court, and then only to the extent of such fully executed agreements.
